We are testing new Collection Station operations.
See below:
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM - Available to you by appointment.
Call: 254-631-3079 Alternate: 254-210-7055
Saturday, 8 AM–5 PM - Open, no appointment needed
These changes allow city employees to continue working on projects and accomplishing goals around town instead of remaining stationed at the Collection Station during times with little or no activity.
Some days, the Collection Station received no drop-offs, yet the city was paying an attendant to be on site.
Citizens still have access during the week by simply calling ahead, while Saturdays will remain open with no appointment necessary.
We appreciate your understanding as we make changes to streamline operations and better utilize City resources.
Located at 1432 Garrett Street
The City of Ranger has obtained through the West Central
Texas Council of Governments ( WCTCOG) a tire trailer for the collection of scrap tires.
The trailer is available at the Collection Station beginning on May 13, 2026, and will remain available for the next 30 days, or until full.
Only passenger vehicle or light truck tires will be accepted.
No commercial or over the road tires will be accepted. Tires may not be mounted on metal wheels, this collection is
for residential customers only, no businesses.
